In need of an updated website and wanting to remove the monotony of manual event regristrations the WRC contacted Simply.

They asked us to develop something that would allow them to:

• give the website a new design
• provide a way for them to manage website content
• easily create and manage the events the run on a regular basis
• provide a simple user interface that any of their staff could use
• provide an email platform for event & other marketing communications, and
• automate registration payments through an external University gateway

With our own content management system we were able to customise it to all of their needs, big and small. The end result is a system that covers all the bases with everything they need and nothing they don’t, simple & effective.

For WRC staff the new process for events is to:

• create an event from scratch using a simple form built into the CMS
• post the event as live on the site
• email their database with a direct link to the event
• automatically accept registrations & payments through the website
• follow up with event information email & ongoing marketing

WRC’s users now receive timely notification of events, updates about the events they’ve registered for and an easier way to register online at the times they want to.
